Description
A quick and easy 5-ingredient dinner featuring salmon glazed with honey and Sriracha, served over rice. Perfect for busy weeknights with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2–4 salmon fillets (about 1.5 lbs total)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2–4 tablespoons Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
- 1 cup dry rice (jasmine or white)
- Green onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat salmon fillets dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Place salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spoon the glaze generously over the fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
- While salmon bakes, cook rice according to package instructions.
- Divide rice among four bowls, top with glazed salmon, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Pat salmon dry before glazing to ensure caramelization. Do not overcook salmon as it continues to cook after removal from oven. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup. Can substitute Sriracha with chili garlic sauce or chili flakes mixed with vinegar.
