Description
A fast, cheesy, and spicy baked dip that comes together in just 15 minutes using pantry staples like rotisserie chicken, cream cheese, and Frank’s RedHot sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or game day.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftover roasted)
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Classic sauce
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat the softened cream cheese with a fork or hand mixer until completely smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the ranch dressing, garlic powder, and melted butter until well combined.
- Add the shredded chicken and hot sauce, mixing until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a 9×9 inch baking dish or small casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and blue cheese crumbles (if using) over the top.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starting to brown at the edges.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately with tortilla chips or vegetables.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Use sharp cheddar for better flavor and melting. For a crispier top, broil for the last 1-2 minutes. This dip does not freeze well due to the dairy content; store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat with a splash of milk or ranch to restore creaminess.
